Keep the head of patient neutral position and the visual on thelevel when measuring.
Match the height of the cervical collar to the patient.
Adjust the height of the cervical collar, support to the size selected in step2, and then lock the adjustable collar.
If a different size is needed, remove, resize, and re-apply the collar.
Pull the back of the collar snug while holding the front in place, and then fasten.
For a supine patient, slide the rear panel behind the neck before placing the chin support
